Herbed Kohlrabi Chicken

This is a super simple recipe using kohlrabi that I bought from a local farm. This was my first experience using kohlrabi and I enjoyed it very much. Although I didn't enjoy cutting it as it is so hard to cut! This recipe also features one of my favorite ingredients:Kerrygold Butter. Yes, I know...OMG What?!? Butter!!?? Haha. Anyhow. This butter is imported and comes from grass fed cows so it is a natural source of CLA. Many people take CLA as a fat loss supplement but I would much rather get it from delicious creamy Kerrygold :)

Ingredients:
4oz Chicken Tenderloin cut in cubes
1 Kohlrabi Root, peeled and sliced in thin half moons
1 tbsp Kerrygold Garlic&Herb Butter
Chopped Garlic (to taste)
Minced Onions (to taste)
Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and onion and sautee for 1 min. Add chopped chicken and continue to sautee for about 5 min. Add kohlrabi and let it cook until the kohlrabi starts to soften brown slightly. Remove from heat and eat.

Cooking time was about 15 min but prep was about 20 as the kohlrabi is pretty difficult to cut. It is definitely worth it though because it is delicious. Tastes almost like a cross between broccoli and a potato.
